About the event

AIClub Research Symposium showcases innovative AI research projects done by students grades 6-10. These projects touch a variety of areas and fields; space, healthcare, social good, climate change, the fine arts and much more. 

Our Keynote Speaker this year is Ashish Bansal. Ashish currently works on accelerating ML workloads at Google. Previously, he has worked on recommendation systems and NLP at Amazon/Twitch, Twitter, and Capital One. He has founded startups and worked in large enterprises over his 20+ year-long career. Ashish published a book on Advanced NLP. He is the co-founder of the IIT AI/ML forum, growing it to over 1500 members.

Keynote Topic: What’s the big deal with big language models?

Ashish will present the key architectural foundations leading to the development of LLMs and present some thoughts on future directions. A Q&A session will be included.
