About the event
AIClub Research Symposium showcases innovative AI research projects done by students grades 6-10. These projects touch a variety of areas and fields; space, healthcare, social good, climate change, the fine arts and much more.
We will be having two keynote speakers this year:
1. Azar Alizadeh
Research Scientist at UpTerra
Azar Alizadeh specializes in machine learning, data analysis, and algorithm development. With 14+ publications and 400+ citations, her research focuses on developing novel AI models, including Neural-SRNN and Stochastic Decision Tree algorithms, to enhance classification and decision-making in large datasets with limited computational resources. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Merced, where she applied advanced AI techniques to improve agricultural productivity, optimizing irrigation and water usage management through data-driven insights. Adept at problem-solving and interdisciplinary collaboration, she brings expertise in both research and real-world AI applications.
2.Dr. Jan Heng
