About this project

The Covid-19 lockdown forced isolation on many, resulting in negative effects on mental health due to the lack of socialization.

Anudi conducted research and discussed with psychologists to confirm that loneliness is a prevalent issue faced by people of all ages. She created a Sri Lankan-based chatbot AI where a friendly robot talks with users and helps them combat feelings of loneliness. This app uses Natural Language Processing (NLP) to detect a user's mood, and then engage in specific conversations and topics. It also recommends local mental health agencies in the country.

Anudi's app has gotten great reviews from users and organizations in Sri Lanka focused on mental health.
