Alzheimer's is a disease that affects millions of people per year. It is one of the top 10 causes of death in the United States and is currently incurable.

Danika created an AI using multi-modal data from an OASIS dataset, with the aim of diagnosing Alzheimer's at an earlier stage, and with a higher accuracy rate to help individuals who may have a potential risk of developing Alzheimer's. This will allow patients to try out different treatment methods to prevent the worsening of the disease.

Danika's app allows for a user to insert an MRI image, and the AI will predict the risk of Alzheimers from Low to High risk. In the future, Danika hopes to add more modalities and combinations to see if it would result in more accurate predictions.

This project can assist the healthcare sector in improving treatment outcomes for patients through early diagnosis.
