Congratulations IEEE ICMLA Publications by High School Students!

Two AIClub Research Institute high school students had their research published this year in the IEEE International Conference on Machine Learning Applications. Congratulations to these students and their impressive research accomplishments.

How can a high school student publish in a professional conference?

There are fundamental differences between high school conferences or journal publications and professional conferences or journals. Professional publications are far more prestigious and consequently expect a higher caliber of research output and writing. That said - high school students can achieve this level of research accomplishments, as the above accomplishments show.

What were these publications?

Both publications focused on applications of AI in healthcare. One focused on energy-efficient deep learning models for eye disease diagnosis. The second focused on Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) a devastating blood cell disease. In both cases, the research focused on the application of state of the art deep learning algorithms and data processing methods to assess disease and progression. While both of these publications were on healthcare, other students have published professionally in every domain from environmental science to musich and dance education.

Why should high school students publish professionally?

We at the AIClub Research Institute have had many students publish in professional venues. What we have found is that the students get an amazing learning experience which prepares them for success in the rest of their lives. They learn how to do research, solve problems, interact with the most accomplished people in their field of choice, collaborate and grow.

How can I get started?

Check out the AIClub Research Institute and set up a time to chat.
